March 15 Rehearsal Cancelled

Due to the weather conditions today, I’ve decided to cancel this afternoon’s rehearsal. I know many of you travel a distance to get to rehearsal, and I’d rather everyone stay safe than risk driving in questionable conditions. 

 

If you’ve had a chance to listen to the recordings I sent out, you might imagine that the thought of pulling this program together with only five rehearsals is making me just a little nervous. Rather than asking everyone to add an extra rehearsal to their schedules, I’d like you to consider the possibility of extending our regular rehearsals by about 30 minutes.

To create the least disruption possible to everyone’s schedules, I’m thinking we might shift our rehearsal time slightly and meet from 1:45–4:15 instead of our usual time. We can be somewhat flexible with this as needed, but if at all possible, I would like to start next week’s rehearsal at 1:45.

 

In the meantime, if you have a chance to spend a little time listening to the recordings at home, it will certainly help keep things moving forward.

Join us for our Spring Concert on May 3

If you would like to join us on stage, new members are always welcome—especially French horn and percussion players, though all instruments are invited! If you’d like to join us, just stop by our first rehearsal or get in touch with the director or one of our board members.
